A playthrough of LJN’s 1992 NES game, Terminator 2: Judgment Day.

Awesome adaptation of the film, but did they seriously have to make the motorcycle level and the steel works so hard? I mean, no continues? Oh well, it certainly made for a satisfying accomplishment once I beat it!

That, and those cinematics are pretty awesome for the NES.

No cheats were used during the recording of this video.

NintendoComplete ( punches you in the face with in-depth reviews, screenshot archives, and music from classic 8-bit NES games!

  1. Man this dude used the Game Genie…No way he made it past the 2nd level without game genie…..This game pissed me off as a kid! My grandma spent hard earned money to get me this game!!!!

  2. I didn't like this game as I felt it was boring, repetitive and didn't follow the movie at all. Of this, the game was notorious for being hard, where most people who brought it felt they were ripped off severely. Others avoided this game like the plague &/or felt strongly about it in varying degrees. And even watching this walkthrough, I still had to fast forward through 27 minutes of the same shit as it is still boring, repetitive and doesn't follow the movie at all …

  3. five punches to take out one guy, and they can harm you with a punch. come on! stupid game designers. maybe we can send someone back in time to prevent such a tragic game to human kind.

  4. Not a particularly great game (and definitely doesn't live up to the epic masterpiece of a movie it's based on), but as someone who grew up with it as a kid back then, it has nostalgic value for sure. The music if nothing else is cool and memorable, and fitting for the Terminator universe.

  5. Ya know…. AVGN plays shitty games so we don't have to…. but you actually BEAT all of these shitty games and somehow make it look easy!! You don't get enough praise.

  6. This is my FAVOURITE NES game. I finished it many times back in the day. Great music, art style and cutscenes. The bike level is the hardest, but I managed to pull it off once and it was not a problem later on. I was blown away that you can get different weapons at one point. When they started scrolling down my jaw dropped.

  7. i could never kill the t1000 im surprised you just had to jump on it a few times and thats it. damn i never knew

  8. GOD im so happy i bought Legend of Zelda and Castlevania over this game as a kid. (i went to a local Pawn shop BEFORE going to Toys R Us to buy this TURD with my hard earned Summer money)
i saw LoZ and Castlevania for around $30 each, OR i could buy….THIS.
If i had bought this game, id have probably given up on Video games for YEARS. i already had my heart broken by the Nightmare on Elm Street game being a Turd. i was PROMISED being able to play as Freddy Krueger, in a comic book add for the game. but they pussed out and made it the old "Kill Freddy as the Teens" formula.

  9. The Terminator being able to be terminated in a fist fight with a human is the best feature of this game, thanks for dealing with all the b,s, and beating a game I never could,
