For me it's not resolved and my machine is lenovo L420 ThinkPad . With in the 3 to 5 mins it's automatically shutdown. Kindly please provide the quick resolution. Hope i will get the best advice from you.

When we put our PC into sleep mode it won’t load back up. So every time we use it, we have to shut it all the way down then restart it 4 hours later if I want to use it again. Is it better to just leave it on without sleep? Or keep shutting it down and restarting it? Also, will this help that issue? Or is this only for people who’s computers are spontaneously going into sleep mode?

My pc will Sleep but the fans continue to run (Windows 10)… this started to happen randomly… any advice?

hello maybe you can help me or anyone reading this if you can help please feel free to chime in. i added another screen to my laptop and i saw youtube vids showing how to use laptop as a desktop, meaning where i can now close my laptop and the other screen stays on and i can continue to use my laptop while it is still closed but my laptop wont do that. when i close the laptop both screens go dark and a message on my second monitor say 1: Auto Detect Entering Power save. is there something or somewhere i can go in my laptop to disable this so that i may do what i'm trying to do?

Tried everything. Nothing worked… THEN:

Turned power settings to Always On. Saved it.

Went back in, and set it back to sleep after x minutes. Saved it.

thanks mate, my keyboard used to stay off after waking from sleep. the cmd code helped solve the issue.

Hi I don't know what else to say I set it to never sleep and it still shuts down after about 15 minutes. I did both of the things you suggested in this YouTube and they were easy to follow I turn the computer off I turned it on in 15 minutes it shut down and I had to sign in again. I went to the start menu and I clicked on the thing that says never shut down never require a password and it just shuts down I've gone through everything I've ever found about it and it works for about 15 minutes and then it shuts down and I have to sign in again I don't know how else to elaborate thanks I'm thinking all uninstall Windows 10 and go back to Windows 7.

Every time, i'm doing something on my laptop it's fine. BUT when I stop to read something if it takes 2 minutes it will go into sleep mode, I've turned the power monitors to NEVER, but that makes no difference, if someone out there has or have had it, please tell me how to stop it.
