  1. Had my first episode 3 days ago. I turned my head really fast to crack my neck and soon after i had it all. Eyes were floating back and forth, instant nausea, sweats and high blood pressure. I thought i would use the bathroom before i called 911. I was bouncing off the walls getting there. Very scary stuff. Called fire/rescue and sat half way on the couch and floor puking until they arrived. Wasn't sure if it was a stroke or what. Got to the hosp. Had an mri, cat scan, heart xray and scan. It stopped about 6 hours later. Woman doc tells me that night it's some kind of rocks in my inner ear. I looked it up aftet i got home and read all about the crystals breaking loose in the ear canal. The only thing i can add to your video is when your doing the epley manuever you are trying to guide the crystals thru the canal and then out. I'm 65 and on medicare thank god. Wished i would have known all this before. 🤪

  2. Here is the smartest physiotherapist from Europe! I will share my insight for people who cannot bend their head 20degrees backwards 🤔😉😜.
Because the angling has to do with gravity from the earth, and not with the bench, you can angle the table 20 degrees down in its totality. Beware for people slipping off! If needed you can add a supplementary stop at your table on their shoulder level. 🤣
You created the right angle! Only you need some pillows extra on raising and turning part.
I also have a channel, but less videos! Good luck and keep up the good work!

  3. Wow! I wish I had seen this before I went to ER! $1800 for them to tell me I had BPPV and they did not even do this maneuver or any other! Just wrote Rx.

  4. Obviously you fellas are not waiting long enough in each position. 30 seconds AFTER ALL SYMPTOMS HAVE STOPPED. You didn't do that.

  5. Can BPPV have associated tinnitus? I get dizzy when I lay on my left side alot, but my left side only, could this be menieres?

  6. So, I thought this would be such a terrific neck-snap you see now and then, I'm happy that is not the case, this looks waay less invasive.

  7. I did not appreciate your initial humor. Ive been very sick with BPPV and took a bad fall. The one genteman did not give the complete initials explanation and confused which way to turn first.

  8. I think this is really supposed to be done with the experts specially if you aren't real sure if its BPPV. I suffered one morning the spinning with my eyes and it gave me so much anxiety. I searched the net fast about it and it says its vertigo and i bumped with this videos showing maneuvers so i tried it and with just one movement when i tried to position my head on my right side the spinning came and it was hell scary that i have to stop. I REALLY CANT DO IT so i look for some other reasons why i am having this vertigo and turns out i'll be having my period within the week and it's really anemia (iron deficiency) that causes my dizziness (anemia) so i got iron tablets and anti vertigo betahismine and it went away for just a day no more spinning. Btw im 24 years old and having real trouble with PMS, just sharing this because this might be so dangerous doing it yourself not knowing the real reason of your vertigo.

  9. After you emphasize not to look down, perhaps you should pick up their purse from the chair or floor for them…. or hand their glasses to them at eye level instead of hip level.

  10. Wow, the first time was forgivable. It's Paroxysmal!
    Not Paroxymal.
U can't even say it properly, are you sure you know what you're saying..

  11. If you repeat “Do not look down” 10x, it’s programming a person to look down. The subconscious mind doesn’t know the word “not, dont, never”… It’s like planting seeds and saying “don’t grow, won’t grow, never grow”. It’ll grow. Humans are this way.

  12. As someone who deals with vertigo, watching this makes me nauseous. It's the worst thing ever to do this Epley Maneuver, but truly the only way to make it go away.

  13. Bob and Brad, thank you for showing this. I just watched at least ten differant videos on this, and noticed each one had some variation to the eply movements.what to do? which one is the best? some say tilt your head at a 45 degree angle, then 90 degree, then laydown, others say something differant!

  14. Having spent a couple years with this. I had this done and it really works. Years i have been without vertigo and now it’s back. Ugggg thank you for the video! Going to try it myself

  15. I suffer from vertigo and self administer this maneuver at home when I need to. It helps! Really! Sometimes, I have to do it two to three times, each time is better than the last.
